Asus is a multinational computer, phone, and electronics company. They produce computer hardware, mobile phone, computer, laptops, netbooks, wearables, servers, workstations, motherboards, etc. Being an Asian enterprise, Asus was the 5th largest PC vendor by 2017 unit sales.

Asus router is one of the best products to use. You can easily install the router using the instructions manual provided by the company. It has good connectivity and provides good internet speed. However, you face a problem with your mechanical device at any time. If your Asus router is not working, then you can call Asus router customer support number from your phone. Or you can follow the instructions given below:

There could be multiple reasons for your equipment not working - it could be a network issue, ISP issue, the conflicting IP issue, cable connection issue, etc.

Troubleshooting - 1

  • If your device is not working, turn off your device, wait for a few minutes and turn on again.
  • If your router is still not working, then you need to check the cable connection.
  • A WAN port on Asus should connect to your internet modem.
  • The modem must connect to the cable socket on the wall with the cable.
  • An Ethernet cable from the router must be connected to the CPU of your computer or your laptop directly.
  • Make sure to plug in the power cable of your router and modem into the wall sockets and turn them ON.
  • If all the connections are fine, then check the cables.

Troubleshooting - 2

  • There could be a conflict in the IP addresses. Check the IP addresses of your router and the modem to make sure that the IP addresses are not conflicting with each other. If the IP addresses are conflicting, then you need to replace it with the new ones.

  • Go to the web browser and type 192.168.1.1 and click the enter button on your keyboard.

  • Enter your username and password to log in.

  • You need to choose the LAN from the menu.

  • You are required to replace the subnet mask with 255.0.0.0 and IP addresses with 10.0.0.1.

  • Then click on apply and hit on OK to confirm the changes.

Troubleshooting 3

You need to check the settings of your internet connection. You need to check the type of connection it has chosen to apply to your device. If you are using a wireless network, then the settings should be PPPoE, and for the internet connection with cable, it would be Dynamic. For more information, you can refer to the instructions manual provided to you along with the equipment.

If you are not sure about the settings, you can call your internet service provider to get help on it or Asus customer service.

Go to the router setup page.

On the left menu, click on the WAN tab, you be able to see the connection type selected. To change the internet connection type, click on the down arrow next to the connection type displayed.

Click on OK.

You will have new internet settings now.

If you still face the same problem with your device, then you can call us on the Asus router support number +(1)-888-846-5560 any time of a day, regardless of holidays.
